Albany State University MBA Students Attend 19th Annual KeyBank Minority Student Case Competition
Three Albany State University (ASU) graduate students traveled to Cleveland, Ohio,
to participate in the 19th Annual KeyBank and Fisher College of Business MBA Minority Student Case Competition
in February. Tolulope Sanusi, Aaliyah Zaraza, and Gabriela Zaraza are enrolled in
the University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. 
“We are so proud of the ASU MBA Team and of Tolu’s performance at the KeyBank Case Competition. The School of Business will continue to expose business students to opportunities to widen their skills, perspectives, and knowledge,” said Dr. Devi Akella, Chair of the School of Business.
During the competition, the students analyzed and presented a contemporary healthcare case topic to corporate executives and academicians serving as judges. This year, twenty-five teams represented twenty-five universities in fifteen states nationwide. The ASU team presented on bridging the health equality gap.
“The Key Bank minority case competition was an amazing experience for me. I learned not only from professionals at KeyBank but also from students from other schools. I was exposed to a variety of interesting ideas and strategies. I was also challenged to sharpen my communication, presentation, and networking skills. Additionally, I was introduced to several career development opportunities which I intend to pursue. Overall, it was an exciting experience, one that I will not be able to forget soon,” said Tolulope Sanusi.
The team captain, Tolulope Sanusi, was presented with one of five Best Presenter Awards. The experience allowed the students to learn and network with other MBA students from other top-tier business schools in the country.
