University Statement 9/29

This has been a difficult week of loss for our entire campus community. Albany State University has received notice of an unfortunate off-campus accident, resulting in the passing of ASU student, Mr. Derex Moore, Jr. We extend our thoughts to those affected by this loss. 

Our commitment to the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our entire campus community has not wavered. Our counseling services are available to our students and the campus community. 

Counseling services are located on the East Campus in the Billy C. Black Building in room 170. Counselors are on call after business hours and on weekends. Students may schedule an appointment with a counselor, by calling 229-500-2013. For more information click here.
