BRYCE WINSTON, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

FUTURE PLANS: OPERATION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN FOR THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION

Bryce Winston, from Smyrna, Georgia, will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is a member of Albany State University’s Association for Computing Machinery Student Chapter, the Student Government Association, and HBCU Unite. Winston has also interned for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) . He is a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity Inc. and Albany State University’s Track and Field team.Bryce Winston Headshot

What are your post-graduation plans?
My plan is to be working full-time at my position with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. After a few years, I hope to pursue a better career opportunity.

What do you love most about your chosen profession?
What I love about my profession is that I will be viewed as a hero for protecting U.S citizens from any dangerous threats and upholding the U.S constitution to a higher standard.

What motivated you to learn more about your field?
I love how easily I can make a lot of connections in my field. I have the opportunity to make money and become very successful.

What are you passionate about outside of your education?
I am passionate about living my life to the fullest, my fraternity, my loved ones, and fitness.

Why did you choose ASU?
I chose ASU because when I completed a campus tour my senior year of high school I felt like it is where I belonged. I was also recruited for track and field.

Who has made the biggest impact on you and who do you consider to be a role model at ASU?
My Alpha Phi Omega advisors and Officer Jarrett Frazier made a big impact on me.

What advice would you give to other ASU students?
Please study, get help, pay attention, and make connections with others to be successful with your time at ASU.

What would you say to a High School student about choosing ASU to further their education?
ASU will definitely help you get to where you want to be as long as you work hard and show your dedication. They will work with you to make sure you are where you belong to be successful.
