Albany State University Receives $150K Home Depot Retool Your School Campus Improvement Grant
We are pleased to announce that Albany State University (ASU) has been named as the top winner of their cluster for the $150K Home Depot Retool Your School (RYS) Campus Improvement Grant challenge.
We are also delighted to congratulate Dr. Ivory Lucas, Executive Director of Facilities, Planning, Design, and Construction on being named a Legacy Honoree by The Home Depot for his work over the years on various RYS projects at ASU.
Thank you, students, faculty and staff, alumni, community members and friends for voting continuously during the 2024 Home Depot RYS Challenge. You truly represented the RAMily spirit and rallied together to bring home the grand prize.
As a previous Home Depot Campus Improvement grant recipient, the University has completed various projects which include the addition of outdoor pavilions to the lower East campus, creation of the Mental Health and Wellness Walking Trail, and improvements to the Student Amphitheater.
The funds from this year will be used to continue enhancing the campus experience through stunning landscaping and the creation of vibrant and inclusive outdoor spaces. These spaces will benefit overall wellness by fostering positive relationships with the University and surrounding areas.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support. We are proud to achieve this grant with your help.
