Welcome to RAM RUSH!

Starting August 19, 2024, Albany State University will operate the Ram Rush transportation service. Ram Rush is a private inter-campus transportation service for students, faculty, and staff, shuttling between the East and West Campuses. The Ram Rush buses will only make stops on ASU property at designated bus stops marked by ASU branded bus shelters and bus stop signs.

General Information

The University is thrilled to offer the Ram Rush Transportation service between West Campus and East Campus. All eligible students can use the Ram Rush buses. An eligible student is someone who has paid all of their tuition and fees to include the Transportation Fee. Faculty and staff can also use the Ram Rush bus after paying the transportation fee.

ASU Students who ride the Ram Rush are governed by the Albany State University Student Code of Conduct.

Faculty and Staff are welcome to participate in the Ram Rush Program. Those who wish to do so should complete the “Ram Rush Faculty Application” and submit it to ramrush@asurams.edu. Upon receiving the completed application, the Transit Fee will be charged to the faculty/staff account. Payment may be made at RAM Central on West campus. Once payment is confirmed, the ID card will be activated for use.

Should there ever be a time that you arrive at the bus stop and the driver is not on board, please do not attempt to board the bus. No rider is allowed to enter the bus unless the driver is present.

Students must have their ID in order to ride the bus. The bus driver will not allow anyone to ride who cannot swipe his/her ID card in the fare box.

Ram Rush only runs when classes are in session.

Routes

There are three bus stops on each campus. Each bus will stop at all three locations when on the respective campuses. Bus shelters and stops are located at the following locations.

Operational Hours

Monday - Friday	7:00 A.M - 9:00 P.M
Saturday	10:00 A.M - 1:15 P.M.
Sunday	Ram Rush does not operate on Sunday
