The Office of Military and Adult Education welcomes you to Albany State University! We are here to serve adult learners and military-connected students who have chosen to be a part of the RAMily. From application to graduation, the Office of Military and Adult Education promotes college completion for adult learners and military-connected students by providing student support services that enhance and compliment the academic experience. Through multiple avenues, the Office of Military and Adult Education strives to provide a supportive and educational environment that fosters student success and achievement of higher education goals.

About the Veteran Student Success Center at ASU
The Veterans Student Success Center (VSSC) provides assistance and resource referral services to veterans and military-connected students. It furnishes educational resources in an effort to further academic success, leading to a degree, certification or licensure and employment in a high-demand, high-wage career field. Coupled with professional respect, responsibility, and accountability, the VSSC is the principal advocate at Albany State University for veterans, ensuring their unique needs and challenges are met.
- Refrains from providing any commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based directly or indirectly on securing enrollments or federal financial aid (including Tuition Assistance funds) to any persons or entities engaged in any student recruiting, admission activities, or making decisions regarding the award of student financial assistance
- Refrain from high-pressure recruitment tactics such as making multiple unsolicited contacts (3 or more), including contacts by phone, email, or in-person, and engaging in same-day recruitment and registration for the purpose of securing Service member enrollments.
Adult Learners (Students 23 years of age and older)
The Office of Military and Adult Education works as a liaison for adult learners, who understand the importance of earning a college degree while managing many other aspects of life. If you are returning to Albany State University, transferring from another institution, or new to higher education, we have degree programs to suit your needs and to help you achieve your academic goals.
