Cost and Fees
In addition to your tuition fees, the following list is a “ballpark” of your estimated expenses for the dental hygiene program at Albany State University and are subject to change. Some of these fees may or may not be covered by financial aid:
- Books – $1,400.00
- Instruments and Clinic Supplies – $3,500.00*
- Uniforms – $255.00
- Shoes – $75.00
- Liability Insurance $39.00
- HBV (Hepatitis-B Vaccinations) and Titer – $200.00
- SADHA Dues – $85/year or $150 for 2 years
- Dental Hygiene National Board Exam – $600
- ADEX Clinical Board Exam – $1,600
- State of Georgia License – $75.00
- Review Course for National Board (optional cost, but strongly recommended) – $495.00
*Students will have a deadline to purchase assigned kits prior to the beginning of the semester. Failure to purchase these kits may forfeit continuation in the program.
