  • Safety Training: Students complete three laboratory safety training courses and received certificates. These include Laboratory Safety Orientation, Laboratory Safety Practical, and Laboratory Hazardous Waste Handling and Processing.
  • Classroom Training: Students receive foundational and advanced knowledge in photovoltaics, covering topics from basic PV cell operations to complex silicon-perovskite tandem structures.
  • Laboratory Equipment Training: Students participate in hands-on sessions for device fabrication, material characterization, and device testing.
  • Capstone Project: Students form teams to work on capstone projects, proposing novel tandem silicon-perovskite solar cell structures, characterization, and fabrication process steps. They present research proposals to peers and faculty on the last day of the week.
