Graduate Check-In

All graduates must check-in to be able to participate in the ceremony**

Regalia

Eligible participants for Commencement will receive an email that includes information regarding the ordering of regalia to their ASU student email. If you have any questions regarding ordering caps, gowns, hoods, and tassels, please email the registrar@asurams.edu inbox for details. The cost of the cap, gown, and tassel portion of the regalia is included in the graduation fee paid to the university. The cap, gown, and tassel must still be ordered through Graduation Source. They will be included as part of your order while not adding any cost to the order. Hoods are required for students earning a bachelor’s or graduate degree and are an additional cost which must be paid for when ordering your regalia.

 

Check-In

Graduates will check-in with the Registrar’s Office to pick up their name card at the table located inside the Civic Center at the entrance facing Oglethorpe Blvd.

Graduates will be directed to line up for the processional. The name card contains degree and honors information and will be handed to the person on stage who is calling names during the ceremony.

 

Graduates Accessibility Drop Off and Entrance

Those needing accessible drop off should report to the parking entry gate located on the east side of the Civic Center off of Front Street. Those being dropped off will follow the signs and enter the Complex on that side as well. Please note that the person needing the accessible seating will have an ASU Ambassador sitting with them to assist. The rest of the group will be asked to sit separately in the guest seating areas to ensure there is enough accessible seating for all.
