What is asu ETS?
Albany State University Educational Talent Search (ASU ETS) is a federally funded TRiO program that is committed to supporting and guiding students in their pursuit of higher education. This free program specifically targets individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in postsecondary education, but may face barriers in accessing educational resources and information. ASU ETS provides academic, career, financial, and personal counseling to 500 students that attend the targeted middle and high schools in the Dougherty County School System.
This program strives to empower students to overcome obstacles, explore their educational options, and achieve their academic and career goals, while seeking students who have the desire, ability, and motivation to excel in their education. Joining ASU ETS implies students and their parents are willing to make a commitment to their future. This program also encourages those who have not completed educational programs at the secondary or postsecondary level to enter or re-enter and graduate.
Albany State University Educational Talent Search is completely FREE for participants and is 100% grant funded.
