Dean's Message

On behalf of the graduate faculty and staff of Albany State University, welcome to our website! The Graduate School functions as the central entity for students, faculty and staff involved in graduate education. Graduate programs at Albany State University are offered through the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, College of Professional Studies, and Darton College of Health Professions. In concert with these departments the Graduate School works to assure compliance with standards, quality and integrity among all of the programs offered, and to offer programs that meet the workforce needs of the region.

Graduate students are important to this institution which has a mission of preparing students to become outstanding contributors to their communities and leaders in their chosen fields.  By working with faculty in an environment that promotes quality in academics, research and scholarship, our graduate programs foster the development of knowledge, skills and dispositions that will help students to advance in their careers.
