Welcome to the Department of Teacher Education where our goal is to help candidates evolve into reflective, culturally responsive and technologically competent practitioners. The mission of the Department of Teacher Education is Transformative Education: Transforming Faculty/Staff and Candidates through Professional Development, Transforming Schools and Communities through Active Engagement, and Transforming Curriculum through Continuous Program Improvement. As such, our dedicated and diverse faculty and staff are committed to transformative education in which we endeavor to help each candidate realize his or her potential.
