Coronavirus Update
March 13, 2020
In the best interests of the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff, the Albany State University is temporarily suspending instruction for two weeks. Students who are currently away from campus on spring break are strongly encouraged not to return to University Housing.
Residents currently on campus are asked to depart housing facilities by 5 p.m. today, March 13. All students should plan to remain away from campus until March 29, and at this time, residents do not need to prepare to move all belongings out of their residence hall.
- On-campus students who need to come back to campus to retrieve books or essential belongings, we will open our halls for temporary building access:
Friday, March 13: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, March 14: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 15: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- If you have extenuating circumstances and are unable to leave campus, please contact
asuhousing@asurams.edu or
229-500-2025. - The health centers, dining services, library services, and recreation and athletics facilities will be following their business continuity plan. Some services may have limited operations. Communications regarding these limited operations will be sent to the campus community.
- All campus events are postponed until April 3.
