Albany State University Center for Transformational Student Experiences (CTSE) provides resources for both students and faculty members under Research and Global Learning.
- Engage Students in High Impact Programs -Undergraduate Research for Academic Success
- Engage faculty in Global and Research Learning Strategies via Course Internationalization for Student Success
- Support Academic Student Mentoring to Promote student Retention and Success
- Assists students, faculty, and staff with Fulbright fellowship engagement
- Assists Students to Find off campus opportunities that best match their skills and research interests.
- The Center organizes 8-10 research workshops to enhance students’ research skills and knowledge
- Collaborates with the Office of International Education (OIE) to support study abroad
- Holds an Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Writing Institute
- Faculty Members who Engage in the Center’s Activities Share Different Models or Curriculum Strategies for Integrating Research and Global Learning into Courses for Student Retention and Success.
The Center is funded through Albany State University Title III programs. It partners with other departments on campus to supplement services for students engaged in research, global learning, and research projects in preparation for graduate school, workshops, and conferences. ASU Center for Transformational Student Experiences is located in Billy C. Black, Rm. 270.
