Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Degree Program is designed for students who are interested in exploring and pursuing topics related to criminal and social justice. Students who enroll in our program typically desire to pursue criminal justice career options. At Albany State, we are determined to ensure a rigorous programs that is based in theoretical foundations, practical application, community engagement, and research.
Our goal is to ensure that our students develop analytical, problem-solving, and intellectual abilities that can be applied in the global marketplace. Our criminal justice faculty members are focused on and committed to ensuring that students are exposed to cultural contemporary and historic discipline concepts and issues.
Further, we intend and expect that our students will be prepared to engage in scholarship and leave us prepared to advance the field of criminal justice.
